I first took up tennis, 4years ago, playing against my teenage sons (they've no interest when I ask them), I tend to play in the summer. But I do struggle to get any of my friends or family interested enough to regularly play. I'm in my forties now with dodgy knees and look at cheap ways to keep active. I usually play at free venues, mainly valley road and Vernon park. I can do most of the basics to a beginner standard. I.e. Serve, volley, lobs and spins.
